A One Day Adventure to the World Famous Brooks Falls
|June 1st – September 18th, 2022||$990 per person|
Travel to Brooks Lodge and experience the world famous bear viewing at Brooks Falls. This tour includes all of the round trip air transportation needed to reach Brooks from Anchorage. We offer the longest time in Katmai National Park of any Brooks day tour!
Traveling to Brooks
Your travels to Brooks begin when you depart from our office in Anchorage aboard our Pilatus PC-12 aircraft bound for King Salmon, Alaska. Upon arrival to King Salmon, you will be met by a member of our team for your short shuttle transfer to our station in King Salmon where you will board a Katmai Air float plane. Your 20 minute scenic float plane adventure will take you to Brooks Lodge.
When You Arrive
Upon arrival, you will be met by a member of the Brooks Lodge staff to assist you off of the plane and direct you to a brief bear orientation administered by a National Park ranger (required for all visitors to Brooks).
During “Bear School,” you will be provided with a map of the area and will learn how to safely conduct yourself while exploring in bear country. Friendly park rangers are also available on-site to answer all of your questions about this incredible park as well.
A hot buffet-style lunch is available each day in the Brooks Lodge dining area and can be purchased on-site for $24.00 per person ($15.00 for children up to 11 years of age).
Lunch options available typically consist of homemade soups, salad bar, two hot entree options, dessert, along with coffee, tea, and other beverage options.
Reasons to Choose Our Day Tour
As a sister operation of Brooks Lodge we’re proud to say we’re able to offer more time on the ground at Brooks than any other day-tour operator from Anchorage. We know maximizing your time in Katmai is important, so our day trips from Anchorage also get preferred flights on our regular service to Brooks.
Plus, if we have to cancel a day tour due to inclement weather, we offer full refunds or reschedules (subject to availability) for flights!
Thanks to the addition of two Pilatus PC-12 aircraft, both of which feature an all-weather and pressurized environment, we also have a higher success rate of traveling to Brooks in inclement weather than most operators as well.
With offices in both Anchorage and King Salmon, our team is here to assist you every step of the way to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip to Brooks. During periods of high demand, we’ll even work with third party air carriers to arrange your travel to King Salmon, where we’ll transfer you to Brooks via our Katmai Air float plane at no extra cost to you!
